Episode 07: Depression, Salmon and the Truman Show
This is episode 7 of Pigletish Talks: the Anxiety Podcast. If you haven't subscribed yet, please make sure you head over to Apple Podcasts or Stitcher and HIT THAT BUTTON - so you never miss an episode.
This week we spoke to Antony Butcher about his experience of living with depression and the lesson's he learned from the West Wing. He also reads an awesome poem called "There's a hole in my sidewalk" by Portia Nelson, which is absolutely incredible and really sums up a lot about mental illness and habitual thinking.
We also talked about the Truman Show and Click (the one with Adam Sandler)... all in all a very cultured episode!
Anyway, I won't spoil it for you - have a listen!
If you had a super power what would it be? Listen to the episode to hear Antony's very interesting description of his choice - leave a comment below with yours :)
