Pigletish (“us” “we” or “our”) is the collective name for mental health and lifestyle works created by Anneli Roberts (© Anneli Roberts 2017) and hosted on Pigletish.com and affiliated social media accounts (Twitter: @pigletish, Instagram @piglet.ish and Facebook /Pigletish. The web design and hosting platform used by Pigletish is Squarespace.

Cookies

Pigletish uses cookies on Pigletish.com. By using “the service” (e.g. to browse the website) you are consenting to the use of cookies. 

Pigletish has chosen to enable Cookies on the site which are used to gather data via Squarespace analytics. These analytics are used to help us understand more about the traffic to our site and our audience and are not used to track any individual user. 

Cookies are small pieces of text sent between your browser and the websites you visit. A cookie file is stored on your browser and can be accessed by the service and third-parties to recognise you and make your next visit to the website more useful. You do not have to provide personal data in order to visit Pigletish.com, read the content hosted on the site or listen to the Human Bean podcast © Anneli Roberts 2019. Some of the links on the Pigletish website will take you to external third party sites. Pigletish does not accept responsibility for these websites and you should always read the privacy policy before sharing your information. 

Currently your personal data is collected in the following ways: 

i. If you buy a product from the Pigletish shop

We collect the data necessary to fulfill your order, including name and delivery address. We also collect email addresses from customers in order to send out order confirmations and receipt. The data you provide when ordering a product is stored securely* within the pigletish.com domain (hosted by Squarespace) and is never transferred to any other platform or shared with any third parties. Card details are not shared with or processed by Pigletish (aside from the last four digits of the card number) and are processed by third party payment platform, Stripe.

ii. If you choose to sign up to receive Whatsapp broadcasts from Pigletish

You can sign up to receive Whatsapp updates via Pigletish.com. During sign up we collect your data (Telephone number, Twitter handle) in order to send you updates via the encrypted Whatsapp messenger platform. The messages you will receive via this service are via the broadcast service. Your telephone number will not be shared with the other users who have signed up and they will not be able to see any replies you send to Pigletish. Pigletish uses a Google form to collect the data necessary to send out updates via Whatsapp. Users must opt in to provide information, no information is collected unless all terms and conditions are read and agreed to. Responses to the form are password protected and only accessible by Pigletish. Data is manually transferred to a password secured iPhone (not for personal use) and saved on the device. Messages sent via this service may include marketing materials. Users can unsubscribe from the list at any time by replying “STOP” to any message sent by the service. 

iii. If you contact Pigletish via email

We will endeavour to respond to your email and will only contact your for any purposes agreed between yourself and Pigletish. This may include answering any questions that you may have and saving your email for future reference. Your email address and personal details will not be transferred to any other platform or used for marketing purposes. 


*Security and data storage

All data is stored within password secured sites. No plugins or third party apps are used to process any personal data unless named above. Data is only accessed from password protected devices and only Anneli Roberts has access to the passwords. 

Reasonable efforts have been made to secure the site (password protection, using secure servers, using private devices that are also password protected) and minimise vulnerability to hacking. Any breach of security would be announced at the nearest possible convenience and Pigletish would endeavour to inform any person(s) whose data was affected by such a breach.


Confidentiality

All data and personal details you provide Pigletish will be kept securely and privately. Any messages you send to Pigletish will be treated with respect and confidentiality where possible. There are exceptions to the confidentiality clause and your data may be shared with third parties when a person(s) welfare or safety is at risk of serious harm or when it is essential for prevention of a crime. Pigletish also reserves the right to report any person(s) to the police or other relevant bodies in cases of harassment, bullying and abuse being directed to ourselves or any other person. We also reserve the right to withhold contact and use relevant “block” facilities to stop a person contacting us in cases where we feel threatened or unsafe. 

Your rights regarding your data.

Under the European Union GDPR law you have the right to contact any company and ask for a copy of your personal data stored and also the right to ask that you are “forgotten” and your details deleted.
