AD | Ah, spring is finally here! It’s so lovely to wake up each morning to bird song and to see little lambs gambling just outside our cottage home. Dreamy!
As you may know, each month I open my blog up to other bloggers to advertise on my site. It helps keep my content funded and free for you to enjoy and it’s a fantastic chance for me to get to show you some awesome bloggers who are creating some absolutely outstanding articles.
It’s finally time for me to share a brand new selection of these bloggers with you, some who have advertised with me before and some that are brand new here. Please check out their work and help them feel welcome!! I’m so excited to have them choose to advertise on my little site, it really means the world to me 🙂
Let’s get cracking!

Billie Geena
Billie has been blogging since before I met her in 2017 and has amassed a world of knowledge and expertise from doing so. She’s also an SEO wizard (her words) and it’s her day job, so you’d have to work hard to find another blogger who was quite as equipped to boost your blog visibility and get you ranking on Google.
For the last few months, she has been sharing SEO advice on her blog and creating practical and useful posts that are specifically useful to other bloggers. Beginner bloggers should check out what should you blog about? and more experienced bloggers will learn plenty from her useful SEO Glossary and Jargon Buster

Lisa’s Notebook
So happy to have the privilege of featuring one of my favourite blogs, Lisa’s Notebook. Lisa’s Notebook is a blog full of interesting content that covers a huge variety of themes, including some absolutely wonderful gardening content (my favourite) as well as cute and personal insights into aspects of Lisa’s life.
She updates regularly. I always look forward to her “garden diary”, which is a monthly feature on the blog, click here to read Gardening in March – a garden blog. I also really loved 20 fun birthday questions for our 11 year old, which she actually published on my birthday! I just thought it was such a sweet and warm post!

Good Shit Daily
Good shit daily started as a recovery blog for a very dark period in the author’s life. It helped her at the time, but now that she is no longer in the space she wants the blog to serve as a lens for how recovery is possible through emotional pain.
The blog is a showcase of the things she is passionate about and so music sits at the very heart of it. Good shit daily has been working through 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die and documenting the journey through her blog. And definitely read her list of things that got her through 2020, which filled me with hope I needed.

Enviroline Blog
Caroline, of Enviroline Blog, writes a variety of articles on a number of important topics. The blog focuses on the environment and eating disorder recovery and the posts are thoughtful and encourage compassion for yourself and the world around you. I really enjoyed exploring this blog for the first time!
A post that I thought would be particularly helpful this month was Caroline’s advice on coping with an eating disorder at Easter, something that is a struggle for many of us and that is particularly challenging at this time of year. I also really loved 6 ways that trees benefit us and thought it was a moving reminder of how powerful nature is!

My name is Beth Anne
I can’t get over how many incredible bloggers I’m getting to showcase this month! My name is Beth Anne is a blog that is obviously built on care and it really stood out to me because it lovingly balanced informative and personal content perfectly. I would really urge you to pop over there and show Beth Anne some love and support.
Another poignant and timely post that I thought it was important for me to share with you guys is you don’t need to lose weight before lockdown ends. I won’t beat around the bush, it made me cry. I needed to read this. I also just wanted to highlight this beautiful piece sharing some of Staffordshire and Derbyshire’s local businesses.

Life with Ktkinnes
Ah, it’s so nice to have returning advertisers – really gives me the chance to get familiar with a new voice in the blogging community and get eyes on their fresh content. Katie shares articles on wellness, self love and self acceptance and yet again I was confronted with some well timed blog posts that I felt were written with all of us in mind!
Some of you might already be facing up to the idea of returning to the workplace after some time furloughed or working from home and Ktkinnes has you covered with preparing to return to work 2021. I have a similarly themed post drafted, so it was great to see that others were talking about this!! I also love the way that Katie documents her goals and progress on her blog – check out April 2021!!

Xena the Worrier
I’ve followed Xena on Twitter for a while now and I feel like a lot of our ups and downs have come at similar times. Her account has always been a comfort to me, but you learn so much about a person when you spend a significant amount of time listening to them (or reading their content) and it was nice to spend some time on her blog this month. I recommend you do the same!
There’s a page on Xena the Worrier called things that can help which hosts a list of resources that go beyond helplines and big charities and could help people cope day to day. I was moved to see my own blog linked from there! Xena went travelling alone after what she calls a “serious breakdown” and has been documenting it via her blog. If you want to explore with her, start here at life after a breakdown part 1.

I’m NOT Disordered
Aimee shows incredible strength and love as she shares her amazing journey of recovery from abuse via her blog I’m NOT disordered, which she set up in 2013 in order to better explain her experiences to friends and family. Aimee’s blog is an important read and, as an abuse survivor myself, I found it helpful and welcoming, although parts could be difficult for some of you.
How abuse changed my life could be comforting to survivors out there who want to feel less alone by reading someone else’s experience. I had to skip some parts as they were difficult for me, but I also felt a warm kinship with Aimee, as I suddenly realised how well this almost stranger would understand what I am going through. Those of you who visit her blog might also be interested in reading this article about some of the process that went into writing her soon-to-be-published book!

It’s Just Socks
James started it’s just socks to document his life as an autistic adult. The name of the blog was born from an everyday hurdle that James managed to overcome with necessity and a fresh perspective; you can read more about the origins of the blog name in this post: Why “It’s Just Socks”… and I’d urge that you do because it’s a short but hopeful post.
James wasn’t diagnosed with autism until he was 31 and he hadn’t thought of the possibility until he found out he was. Many of the posts on It’s Just Socks highlight things that James has struggled with for a long time, but become more aware of since the diagnosis. Sensitivity to water is a really open and personal piece about one of the sensory issues that James has been living with. I highly recommend you read it, it made me re-examine some of my own issues.
