Affiliate links | We rent a 19th century cottage in rural North Wales. It’s teeny tiny, so we have to be very selective about what items we keep in home. It would also be so easy to ruin the cute and wholesome feel of the place by bringing in items that feel too modern. I absolutely love the romanticised countryside aesthetic and I spend a lot of time in bed because of my mental health. It’s so important to be comfortable, so this post is all about cottagecore bedding!
For me cottagecore vibes go hand in hand with supporting small businesses and investing in pieces that are made to last. The linen bedding of my dreams

This absolutely gorgeous olive linen bedding of my dreams is top of my wishlist. Linen is known for being a comfortable and breathable natural fabric that is long lasting and robust. Properly cared for, this bedding is an investment that would last you a lifetime. I’m absolutely in love with it. Get it from Linen Storm on Etsy or browse their other products.
Comfortable textured dusky pink bedding

This bedding just looks so comfy and dreamy and would fit really well layered with other floral, whimsical cottagecore bedding. This polyester and cotton dusky pink bedding from LolaRoseInteriorsCo reminds me of a patchwork quilt and looks like it would be absolutely lovely to snuggle up in. I want everything in this colour!
Vintage inspired Cottagecore Bedding

This might be my favourite bedding of all time. It’s been on my Etsy Wishlist for about a century and one day I am determined to own it. For now, I’ll share it with you guys and hope that you love it as much as I do. I love everything mushroom atm and this spectacular breathable and hypoallergenic mushroom bedding from GrannetHome may be one of the most beautiful home decor items I’ve EVER seen! How could you possibly resist?
Add some enchanted forest vibes

Wildlife and nature are at the heart of the cottage aesthetic, so including them in your decor is a must! I absolutely love this forest inspired cottagecore bedding from LolaRoseInteriorsCo in emerald green. It’s the perfect way to bring a year round cosy autumnal feel to your bedroom!
Whimsical Woodland bedding

Why not go the whole mile and turn your entire bed into an enchanted forest with this mysterious forest bedding from JessHomeDecor. If fairytale forests are your thing, this bedding will really help you get into it. I’d find it hard to resist adding a mural and really theming up this room to be honest.
Snap up this fabulous floral bedding set

Another linen set for a cool and comfortable night’s sleep, I can’t get enough of this floral bedding set from LolaRoseInteriorsCo. I just love the warm and inviting print and bold mustard. This is some statement bedding for sure. Also, that is a BEAUTIFUL headboard!
Splurge on this beautiful botanical duvet cover

I’m in love. How is it possible that there are so many gorgeous bedding sets out there and why can’t I own them all? Seriously. This botanical linen bedding set from LinenINK on Etsy makes me feel so cosy just looking at it. I can’t imagine how lovely it must be to crawl into that bedding at the end of a long day.
This bold print abstract Scandi bedding

The ARIA set from Monallabel is completely reversible, which means you can choose between olive green and grey for the abstract pattern (or combine both to shake things up). The bedding is handmade from a blend of cotton and polyester and would look striking in a minimal cottage bedroom setting.
Simple and elegant cottagecore bedding

If you already have a lot of clashing prints, cushions and art in your bedroom, why not opt for something more understated for your actual bedding. This light grey 100% linen duvet cover set looks comfortable and soft and would also make a great backdrop to a whole pile of vintage blankets. A bonus, you won’t need to buy new bedding each time you decorate!
This simple but stunning cottagecore bedding

This tree printed linen duvet set is marketed as a Christmas bedding, but I think the design is pretty and versatile enough to work all year round ESPECIALLY in a cottagecore home, which often incorporate nature inspired themes and prints. I love it and think it would work well with most colour schemes and add a bit of cuteness to your room.

This is definitely a lovely selection of some beautiful designed bedding. Waiting to see what my medium-to-long term future looks like however definitely would like to invest in another good quality bedding set and especially those designed by small businesses with Etsy shops.
Got a nice brushed set a couple of years ago but definitely feel I want at least another set as I turn my bedroom into a woodland themed space.
Definitely not one to want to keep the current décor in my room but was waiting for the right opportunity to design it right.
Keep up your great work, Anneli. Always lovely to see what you get warmth feelings from.
I agree! This is THE dream vintage space. Would love to switch up my style in my room every two weeks I guess haha. Everything about it— from the colors to the decors is so cozy and homey. I love the botanical duvet cover!
