I love art. It’s an important part of my self care routine. Art just ticks so many boxes for me: it’s a creative outlet, a form of escapism and a much needed distraction from my symptoms. Those of you who struggle to focus/concentrate on things day to day will know how special it is to be completely engrossed in something. I love it so much.

I don’t know where I’d be without my easel (well I do because I once had a light breeze take out a £400.00 painting commission I was working on!). I managed to get a really amazing deal on an easel from Aldi earlier this year, I was really fortunate.

This tabletop easel box is light and portable and will allow you to paint while travelling or easily move your artwork around the house. I absolutely love my tabletop easel, it’s so handy when I don’t want a full set up (or if I don’t feel like standing up to paint) but I do wish mine had a box like this one so I could easily tuck everything away!
Watercolour brush pens
Watercolour brush pens are a fabulous and easily transportable way of creating quick artistic paintings on the go. They work best with high quality watercolour paper and either a water pen or a regular paint brush and pot of water. However you use them, they are a wonderful way to get creative.
